Learn to sew lounge shorts from start to finish using professional patterns, fabric of your choice and professional sewing machines in this 5-day camp. Each session will be 2 hours. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this camp. Supported by the City of Orlando Mayor's Matching Grant. Project: Shorts Day 1: Sewing safety and using the sewing machine. Day 2: Fabric and reading a professional pattern. Day 3: Sewing seams of shorts. Day 4: Finishing hems and waistbands. Day 5: Embellishing your shorts and fashion show.
