Interior enhancements are planned to take place at our North Orange Branch and West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center. While this exciting work is being completed, the branches will be closed. Branch book drops will continue to be available for returns only.
The selected branches are popular with our customers and heavily used. Each has been in the same location for at least twenty years and some sections are now worn and outdated. During the refresh projects each location will be closed to the public and their bathrooms will not be available. Upon opening again, the bathrooms will be available again and updated.

If you pick up your holds at the North Orange Branch or West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center, please contact the Questline (407-835-7323) to indicate whether you’d like to pick up your items at another branch or switch to home delivery during the course of your location’s closure.
Your items may be renewed online, over the phone through the renewal line (407-835-7323 Option 2), or another OCLS location. Please call Questline if you need more information: 407-835-7323.
The book drop will remain open at each location throughout the closures. Items may not be checked in on Saturdays or Sundays, so will be backdated on Mondays.

Can I still conduct and receive help with genealogy research while the West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center is closed?
The genealogy book collection will be unavailable during the refresh, but customers may still submit research questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or book a virtual appointment with our Genealogy Specialist through the Book a Pro form. Customers may access Ancestry Library Edition at any OCLS Location...
As part of our refresh, we will be removing the compact shelving. This will allow the West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center to have open stacks, giving customers and staff better access to all materials.
