  • Who can borrow a Fiber Arts Kit?

    Fiber Arts kits are available for adult resident, property owner, and fee card customers. 

  • How long can I borrow a kit?

    The loan period is 21 days with up to 5 automatic renewals available. Items currently cannot be reserved for home delivery or branch pickup.  

  • Where are the kits available? Why isn’t the kit I want available at the Branch I frequent?

    Most kits are available all locations. However, some kits are provided by community partners and grants in specific communities. Please check the availability and locations of kits before visiting a location for checkout.

  • Why do I need to sign a waiver to check out a Library of Things item?

    When checking items out from the Library of Things collection, customers must agree to the terms of use and waiver to accept liability for using any items in the collection.

  • What data speeds can I expect with an OCLS hotspot powered by T-Mobile?

  • Why does the hotspot have a “cycle end date” or “data allowance has run out” message displayed on the device?

    Please disregard any messages that display a “cycle end date” or that “data allowance has run out”. The library hotspots are on an unlimited plan. T-Mobile does not have a mechanism for disabling these messages. The messages do not mean the hotspots will stop working.

  • Can I renew a Wi-Fi hotspot kit?

    Hotspots can be renewed up to five times unless someone else is waiting for the device. Hotspots are disabled after the due date.

  • Where can I borrow a Wi-Fi hotspot?

    You may check out or place a hold on a hotspot at any of our library locations, or by calling 407.835.7323. Hotspots must be picked up by the cardholder at one of our library locations.

Southwest Branch Closing for Maintenance

Southwest Branch will be closed on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26 for replacement of the HVAC unit. The book drop will remain open and we plan to resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, March 27.
