Explore art, business, music production, robotics, sewing, soldering, virtual reality, book clubs, contests and more at the Orange County Library System this summer! Receive an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing for each event or class you attend, contest you enter or virtual badge you earn through Beanstack. You could win bicycles, headphones, a Shake Shack party or other cool prizes! The teen who earns the most badges on Beanstack will win an iPad mini.

Take the fashion world by storm! We will teach you everything you need to know to start sewing like a pro. Learn to sew your own tote bag from start to finish using professional patterns, fabric of your choice and professional sewing machines in this 5-day camp. Each session will be 2 hours. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this camp. Supported by the City of Orlando Mayor's Matching Grant. Project: Tote Bags This is a 5-day camp. The camp runs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Day 1: Sewing safety and using the sewing machine. Day 2: Fabric and reading a professional pattern. Day 3: Sewing seams of tote bags. Day 4: Finishing raw edges for a professional look. Day 5: Embellishing your totes with bling. Registration is required with a Library card in good standing. Seats are limited, so register today!
