10 Bookish Instagram Accounts You Should Be Following

It’s safe to say social media has become a big part of our daily routine in the past few months. These platforms have helped keep us connected with each other in beautifully, creative way.  One of our favorite social platforms, Instagram, allows for over a billion users all around the world to share photos and videos. This October, Instagram will be celebrating it’s 10 year launch, so in recognition of this achievement I’ve gathered 10 bookish-themed Instagram accounts for the book lover in all of us.

@Book_Girl_Magic

Book Girl Magic’s Instagram highlights women in the world of literature. They include a Book of the Month (BOTM), along with quotes to help inspire and bring you those good vibes.

At first click, you are welcomed to Lupita’s world of books with her colorful posts and fun videos. Her book recommendations vary in multiple genres, mostly by Hispanix and Latinx authors. She also throws in a giveaway or two every once in a while, so keep an eye out.

@The.Masked.Reader

This masked book enthusiast has the super power of both really cool masks and reviewing books for kids. Every Friday, he publishes a new video talking about his latest adventure. We promise not to reveal his identity, and instead look forward to more of his videos and posts.

@Pretty_x_bookish

@Jordys.Book.Club

Many book-themed Instagram accounts showcase their reviews and offer giveaways, but Jordan takes it up a notch. He helps local bookstores by highlighting recommendations and links to purchasing from those bookstores. His photos are usually filled with books from some great authors.

@eatingreading

Ok, I admit part of why I chose this account is because of the food, but that’s what makes it so unique to all the others! This librarian takes books and pairs them with all sorts of foods ranging from savory to sweet and everything in between. She has guests from everywhere in the country help her in highlighting their favorite eats and reads.

@tomesandtextiles

Fans of YA literature and fashion will love the creativity in this Instagram account. Carmen brings the best of books and garments together for some magical photos that tell their own story. She focuses her books which highlight women who inspire and important issues faced in today’s society.

@Elizabeth_Sagan

This account takes books to a whole new level. Elizabeth is a force of creation when it comes to making book art and her pictures are proof. References on popular books are the inspirational drive in her images. She also co-manages a bookstagram account (@mybookfeatures) where you can submit your own literature inspired photography.

@james_trevino

James is the other co-founder of @mybookfeatures and is a marvel on his own. You can find some of your favorite books and stories themed into his images, which sometimes feature Elizabeth. Their artistic way of bringing books to life is one of the reasons you should follow their accounts.
