Are ready to learn some more advanced sewing skills? We will teach you sewing techniques for creating a tote bag with special features like welt zipper interior pocket, zipper closure, slip pockets and more. This is a 4-day series. Each session will be 2 hours. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this series. We provide the measurements/pattern for the tote ., Students are required to bring:, 3/4 yards fabric A (main exterior) – ¾ yard fabric B (contrasting exterior bottom + straps) – ¾ yard fabric C (lining) – ¾ yard. medium weight fusible interfacing of choice) 3 yards. Also ¾ yard of soft ShapeFlex interfacing. One - 9" long metal or nylon zipper one - 18" long metal or nylon zipper. Matching heavyweight/Topstitch thread (optional). Students are required to have basics sewing skills, able to wind a bobbin and thread a sewing machine. Registration is required with a Library card in good standing.
