Fiber Arts

Yarnfiti Community Art Project

Decorate the library with the dynamic art of yarnfiti. Discover the fun of creating beautiful, textural works of art with yarn instead of paint. Collaborate with other knit and crochet artists to cover the Orlando Public Library with colorful squares of fabric. Fiber artists, and aspiring fiber artists, of any skill level are all enthusiastically encouraged to participate.

Join in the fun at weekly meetups to learn, create and share your art. You’re welcome to use one of our suggested patterns or experiment with your own design. Squares should measure five inches on each side.
