Q: What do I need to apply for government benefits?
A: Generally, you will need a photo ID, Social Security number, mailing address (in some cases this cannot be a P.O. Box), a computer with Internet access and time.

A: We have an Access Florida form you can fill out to keep track of your Food Stamp application.
Q: What kinds of assistance can I find through this site?
A: We have links to many government organizations who offer benefits, jobs, and financial assistance.
Q: I'm looking for a job, where can I apply?
A: We have links to government jobs in the Other Services section of the Federal Assistance area of this site. You’ll find information on local jobs in the Jobs/Employment section of the Local Assistance area of this site. If you would like to apply for a job at the Orange County Library System visit the Jobs section of ocls.info.
Q: I need money for college, where can I look?
A: Start by filling out the FAFSA. You can also create a profile on FastWeb.

Q: How do I get started with Access Florida?

Q: What documents do I need to apply for Food Stamps (or temporary cash assistance or other access Florida programs)?
A: You will need the following documents: Social Security number, date of birth, income and banking information, rent and utilities information, and health insurance information.
Q: What documents do I need to file for unemployment?
A: You need the following pieces of information: ZIP code, Social Security number, names and addresses of all employers, dates and gross earnings, driver's license or state ID card.

Q: I can't get to (insert name) Web site, why not?
A: Make sure you are on a computer with full internet access. Many library computers have limited or no internet access. If that isn't the problem then the Web site may be down, try again later.
