Technology classes are free to Library District Resident card holders, Fee card holders, and Orange County Property Owner card holders. Others may attend by paying a $10 fee at time of registration prior to class time. Please register with the child’s library card. A responsible adult or caregiver must accompany children 10 years of age or younger and must stay in close proximity while the child is participating in Whiz Kids.

Whiz Kids: Machines, Motion and Engineering Using K'NEX »

Use K'NEX construction system to build machines such as transmissions, drag racers, cranes, rocket launchers, and more. Make learning about simple machines, motion and engineering fun with hands-on building. Fun for anyone ages 9 years and up. Registered children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult, guardian or older sibling in the workshop. All participants must register to attend. This class is taught in a collaborative learning environment. Participants may work in teams of 2-3 students. #tic #fabtic #pcen
