Healthy Connections is the Orange County Library System's multi-media approach to connecting you to information on a variety of important health topics. Leading a healthy life is important to everyone, and having the right information can make all the difference. Want to learn about a new medication? Need to find a heart healthy diet? Are you at risk for diabetes? The Library can help you find answers to these and a world of other questions. Choose the option that works best for you - and get connected!

Healthy Connections on Orange TV!

Each month, the Library joins together with Orange TV to broadcast a half-hour program devoted to increasing awareness of a number of health topics. Programs feature guests from the healthcare and fitness industries, as well as everyday people sharing their stories of health and hope.

Prenatal CareOur September episode, Hearing Loss, airs throughout the month on Orange TV (cable channel 9 for Brighthouse and Adelphia subscribers) and Vision TV (cable channel 98 for Brighthouse, 97 for Adelphia) at the following times:

Healthy Connections Classes

If you like a hands-on approach to learning, sign up for one of our Healthy Connections technology classes. In a small group setting, instructors will walk you through steps to finding credible health information on the Internet. Participants should be comfortable with computer basics.
