Don't you agree that the next best thing to reading a good book is talking about it?
We have set aside copies of these titles for your book club. You will find the total number of copies available next to the title. You may check out as many of these as you need for your group. Just use this form to request the books for your group!
Join us the first Tuesday of every month at 12:15 for a lively lunchtime discussion. This month's selection is Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall. Fleeing her strict grandmother's home in 1963 Mississippi, nine-year-old Starla Claudelle becomes an unlikely companion to an African-American woman at whose side she learns harsh lessons about segregation and family.
Join the Southeast Book Club to discuss this month's book selection: The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand. We meet on the second Monday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Southeast Branch. Find our selections on Pinterest.
Join the Southwest Book Club this month to discuss Out of Order: Stories from the Supreme Court by Sandra Day O'Conner. The former Supreme Court justice shares stories about the history and evolution of the Supreme Court. She traces the roles of key contributors while sharing events behind important transformations.
Anyone age 18 or older is welcome to attend. The book club meets monthly at the Southwest Branch Library. No registration needed. For more information, please call 407.835.7323 or email email@example.com.
