Join us to discuss Walter Isaacson's, Benjamin Franklin: An American Life. Of all the founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin has the unique distinction of having signed all three of the major documents that established the United States as an independent nation. Isaacson provides the full sweep of Franklin's amazing life, showing how he helped to forge the American national identity and why he has a particular resonance in the twenty-first century. Anyone age 18 or older is welcome to attend. The book club meets quarterly at the Southwest Branch Library. No registration needed.
