Throughout the month of May, we highlighted the novel, The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan with programs and events! This expertly crafted novel tells the interwoven stories of four Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-raised daughters as they struggle to connect despite the ghosts and secrets of the past.
The library hosted book discussions, special programs featuring experts on Chinese-American Literature and Amy Tan, as well as Lion Dancers, a Chinese Tea event for children, an online scavenger hunt, and many more exciting programs!
