Access Assessment: Audio Studio Live Room

Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Melrose Center Registration Required

Prior to booking a studio, users are required to successfully complete a brief thirty minute studio-specific assessment. The assessment will cover basic studio workflows, including: setting up microphones, signal routing, recording and playback. Assessment Registration Requirement: To register for this assessment, cardholder must have Live Room Booking Privileges and must be at least 18 years of age. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age). Required Skills: Introductory knowledge of live mixers, signal flow and effects processing. Experience with microphones, speakers, and signal routing. Recommended Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Sound for Audio Engineering, Microphone Theory Levels 1 and 2, Live Mixer Fundamentals Levels 1 and 2 You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted.
