Learn to fly with a professional flight simulator using realistic flight controls. Instruction will cover the use of the equipment and software. After completing the instruction take an assessment that will allow you to reserve the flight simulator during scheduled lab time.
ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: To register for this orientation and/or assessment, cardholders must attend the General Orientation for the Melrose Center and must be at least 18 years of age. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age).
You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted.
These programs, especially for infants from birth to 18 months, last approximately 15 minutes. The rhythm and repetition of nursery rhymes are used to introduce very young children to literature. Hold your child in your lap and enjoy this special time together.
Stories and activities for children aged 18 to 36 months. The programs last approximately 20 minutes. The use of picture books, finger plays, songs, poetry and Mother Goose rhymes, and flannel board stories will encourage the development of verbal and listening skills for this active age group.
Get hands-on experience with our audio engineers recording live guest bands. Practice studio set-up, signal routing and recording with industry standard equipment in the Audio Studio.
Required Skills: Introductory knowledge of Pro Tools and experience operating a control surface, such as the Avid C|24. Knowledge of microphones and signal routing.
Create a basic project plan, resource calendar, define resources and task dependencies. This class covers the workspace, different views and the processes in planning, tracking and managing a project. Recommended Audience: Adult
Join the Melrose Center Fab Lab staff and the Orlando Robotics and Makers Club as we celebrate this world-wide event. Our instructors will teach a selection from the Arduino classes we offer for beginners and the Orlando Robotics and Makers Club will showcase some of their innovative Arduino creations.
Learn spreadsheet concepts and terminology. Learn how to create a basic spreadsheet and how to apply basic formulas. Use various formatting tools to enhance the look and feel of the spreadsheet. Recommended Audience: Adult
