The West Oaks Branch
was built on land donated by the Pease Family Trust, it was funded
by the Library System and a Florida Library Construction Grant.
A special feature at West Oaks is the sculpture "The Squid Squad" by local artist Vince Sansone. The piece won "Best in Show" at the 1999 Fiesta in the Park. The Fiesta Committee purchased the sculpture and donated it to the Library.
Services and Programs
The library collection includes books, audio books (tape
and CD), informational and entertainment videos and DVDs, Cds, Playaways, and an Adult Literacy Collection.
Public computers offering Internet access, word processing
and online reference resources including the Library catalog.
Our computer lab houses eight computers and allows us to teach classes for PC and MAC users. Our friendly and knowledgeable Technology and Customer Support Specialists teach over fifty classes a month.
Drive-up window allowing patrons to return items or call ahead and pickup materials while remaining in their cars.

Programs each week. Tiny Tales for babies ages birth to
18 months, Toddler Time for ages 18 to 36 months, Storybook
Fun for Preschoolers.
