Always Available E-books for Kids and Teens!

TumbleBook Library and TumbleBookCloud are excellent online library resources for students and teachers seeking on-demand content and curriculum support. Students can read online e-books, listen to audiobooks, and broaden their reading experience with linked title-specific content. Teachers will find lesson plans, linked videos, and more that will help enhance the learning process. Student and teacher-friendly features include:

  • Read-along with recorded narration for many titles
  • Non-fiction content from National Geographic
  • Accelerated Reader levels, plus TumleBookCloud includes levels for Lexile and Common Core
  • Smartphone and tablet compatible e-books and audiobooks

TumbleBook Library was created for elementary school students and features picture and chapter books, puzzles, and videos. Picture books are in a read-along format and include music and animation. Students trying out chapter books can listen to a recorded narrator and follow along as they read. This resource is also available in Spanish: TumbleBook Library en Español!

TumbleBookCloud features e-books and audiobooks for middle and high school students, plus some titles include related video content like plot summaries from SparkNotes. Teachers will find lesson plans and quizzes linked to select titles. Avid readers can browse an expanding collection of young adult titles and graphic novels.

This resource is found in the Books & Literature section of the Online Databases and can be used with other useful tools, like NoveList Plus, Read the Books, or Homework Help @ OCLS.
