Hear stories of festive family gatherings and grand galas for heads of state, athletes and entertainers. Also, find out which Kennedy family favorites he repeats at his Orlando eatery, Doc’s Restaurant. Connolly is a highly decorated chef with a career spanning more than 40 years. Book sale and signing follow program.

Join us for a special one-woman show as a tribute to the centennial celebration of the life of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings as written and performed by Karen De Vos. Learn all about the life of this famed Florida author and follow her career from novice scribe to her Pulitzer Prize-winning classic novel The Yearling. Delve into the local themes and locations from her stories. View a slide show and a series of performances portraying Rawlings’ life. Question and answer session will follow program.
