Mango Languages offers conversational learning at your own pace in a fun way combining audio clips and written text. Languages offered include: Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian. ESL courses are offered for Spanish, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese speakers.
Select the database, enter your card number/PIN and select the language you want to learn. Each language has up to 100 lessons and you can select the entire lesson, a condensed lesson, select a vocabulary review or a phrase book review.
Requirements: Orange County Resident Library Card or a Fee Card.

An Open Door to Language Learning - Tell Me More is a comprehensive foreign language learning method that combines the richness and quality of its contents with the flexibility and interactive features of multimedia. Through different types of activities, the method aims to develop the essential skills needed to communicate: oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression, vocabulary, and grammar.
In an authentic learning context, Tell Me More introduces the grammatical, lexical, phonetic, and conjugation notions necessary to develop these skills. Languages available to learn include Spanish, French, and Italian.
Requirements: Registration is available to everyone who has a Library card. This program is being offered through the Library to our patrons at no cost. This is a Web-based learning program and can be accessed in the Library or from any computer that has a Broadband Internet Connection. Please note that you will also need a microphone and loudspeakers or a microphone-equipped headset.
