Art After Hours

One of the most popular programs is the bimonthly Art After Hours, which is held at the Orlando Public Library. Check out art, enjoy delicious foods and hear inviting music as you meet artists and hear about their work.

The Libraries of the Orange County Library System allow artists and community groups to display their artwork and information. This cooperative effort enables the Library to share the enjoyment of art with the public, provides exposure to local artists, artisans, and community groups, and enhances Library facilities. Library »

Join the Library for some wonderful craft ideas for everyone on your holiday list. Check out craft and party suggestions at the Craft Creations program or learn how to make holiday gifts with our Crafty Holiday Gifts program. West Oaks Quilters »

This group, which meets once a month, invites beginners to come and learn the art of quilting. Seasoned quilters are also invited to attend. Check the calendar for more details.

Teen Programs

Animanga »

For teens who enjoy Japanese manga and anime, this club meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. An annual Animanga Mini Con and Animanga Character Reality Contest are held each November. Photos from past events are posted.

A.R.T.: Revolution for Teens »

Teens are introduced to alternative art forms in workshops hosted by local artists. A.R.T.: Revolution for Teens is sponsored in part by the Hot Topic Foundation. Check the calendar for upcoming programs.

pARTz »

Be a part of pARTz, the performing arts club for teens ages 13 to 18. This program is held the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. in Club Central at the Orlando Public Library. If you are interested in acting, improv or film making, don't be afraid to get on the stage! Have fun and express yourself!

The Annual Orlando Fringe »

A 12-day-festival that is founded on the concept of offering 100% unjuried, 100% uncensored, 100% accessible theatre, music, dance, art and madness to all types and ages where 100% of the box office ticket sales go directly back to the artists within The Fringe. The Orlando Fringe is the longest running US Fringe festival.
