Library and Community Programs and ClassesThe Orange County Library System allows artists and community groups to display their artwork and information in our locations. This cooperative effort enables the Library to share the enjoyment of art with the public, provides exposure to local artists, artisans, and community groups, and enhances Library facilities. Each month the library branches host art and culture programs. The programs are diverse in nature, and may be demonstrations, author visits, hands-on-learning, or meeting artists from the area. Be sure to attend one or all of these culturally rich events! Classes are available at many local Michaels stores. Visit the link to find the location most convenient for you. Children's Programs
Crafts are a wonderful activity for children to develop their creativity. Many of our children's programs incorporate developmentally appropriate art activities.
Teen Programs
For teens, ages 13 to 18, who enjoy Japanese manga and anime, this club meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Orlando Public Library.
Teens are introduced to a variety of art forms in workshops hosted by local artists. A.R.T.: Art Revolution for Teens is sponsored by the Chesley G. Magruder Foundation.
