The Orange County Library System is pleased to offer a variety of programs and events each month. From author talks to flamenco dancers and everything in between, you're sure to find a program that catches your interest!
Prior to booking a studio, we ask that users participate in a studio-specific orientation and successfully complete a brief assessment.
To register for this assessment, cardholders must be 18 years old or older. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age).
ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Must attend the Video Studio Access Orientation.
These programs, especially for infants from birth to 18 months, last approximately 15 minutes. The rhythm and repetition of nursery rhymes are used to introduce very young children to literature. Hold your child in your lap and enjoy this special time together.
Tour the Video Studio. Learn the Video Studio workflow, procedures and best practices. Individual video assessments are available after the orientation. This is a prerequisite class to gain access to the Melrose Center Video Studio. To register call 407-835-7323.
Stories and activities for children aged 18 to 36 months. The programs last approximately 20 minutes. The use of picture books, finger plays, songs, poetry and Mother Goose rhymes, and flannel board stories will encourage the development of verbal and listening skills for this active age group.
Tour the new Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation, and Creativity. This unique 26,000 square foot center includes individual and collaborative work spaces, an audio production studio, a photography studio, a video production studio, fab lab, and simulation lab.
