Forklift Simulator Orientation & Assessment

Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Melrose Center Registration Required

Learn to drive a forklift in lifelike warehouse conditions. Practice moving freight with realistic controls. Instruction will cover the use of the equipment and software. After completing the instruction take an assessment that will allow you to reserve the Forklift simulator during scheduled lab time. Cardholders must be 18 years old or older. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age). You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted.

Video Studio Assessment

Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Melrose Center Registration Required

Prior to booking a studio, we ask that users participate in a studio-specific orientation and successfully complete a brief assessment. To register for this assessment, cardholders must be 18 years old or older. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age). ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Must attend the Video Studio Access Orientation.

Audio Studio Orientation and Assessment: Live Room

Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Melrose Center Registration Required

Tour the Audio Studio Live Room. Learn the studio workflow, procedures and best practices. Assessments will be offered as part of the orientation. Prior to booking the Audio Studio Live Room, users must participate in this assessment to show proficiency in using the equipment. A Live Room booking does not include access to the Control Room, the C24 Control Surface, or Pro Tools software. Recordings made in the Live Room do not provide a file that allows separate channel editing. ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: To register for this orientation and assessments, cardholders must attend the General Orientation for the Melrose Center and must be at least 18 years of age. Tour the Photography Studio. Learn the Photography Studio workflow, procedures and best practices. Individual photography assessments are available after the orientation. Prior to booking the photo studio, users must participate in an assessment to show proficiency in using the photo studio equipment. This is a prerequisite class to gain access to the Melrose Center Photography Studio. To register call 407-835-7323.
