Celebrating the Genius of Women
Enjoy the Celebrating the Genius of Women art exhibition in honor of Women's History Month. The exhibit features four finalists of the Women in the Arts, Inc. art competition for local professional female artists:

- Gloria Kohlmann
Illustrations, "Young Uygur Woman"
- Hope Lugo
Acrylic and Mixed Media, "Janis Speaks with Poe"
- Heather Nagy
Mixed Media, "Detour"
The exhibition also includes a digital display recognizing other participating artists and a collection of artwork from past competition winners. Additional artists are:
- Diane Lynne Chanako - Sarasota, Florida
- Sandra Maria Monsalve - Medellin, Colombia
- Alejandra Angel Rios - Cali, Colombia
Stop by the Orlando Public Library from March 8 through March 21 and vote for your favorite piece of art to win the People's Choice Award. All library visitors are welcome to vote. Voters with an OCLS library card in good standing will be entered in a raffle for a prize.
*Non-local artists and past competition winners are not competing for cash prizes or the People's Choice Award.

Meet the four finalists of the Women in the Arts, Inc. art competition for an interactive art walk and discussion about their work. Find out the winners of the Celebrating the Genius of Women Best of Show Awards. We will also announce the winner of the voter raffle at the ceremony. Voter must be present to receive the prize.
