The high caliber of musicianship from each of them, together with Betty's effervescent personality, have made Bakey and Betty a hit with their audiences from theme parks, dinner theaters, cabarets and music festivals to concert halls worldwide.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month American opera singer Mateo Blanco will perform at your local library. A pioneer in the music industry, Blanco became the first American tenor to record a multi-genre record that put him on the list of the 100 musicians that would change the path of music. Blanco has entertained millions of people around the world through song and was invited to sing for the former President George H.W. Bush. Blanco, who is also a sculptor and painter, has gone from singing on stage across America to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museums. His art pieces are displayed at Ripley's Believe It or Not Museums across United States. Blanco's CD Mateo Blanco 724 is available in the OCLS collection.
