Black History Month

Eli & Bill Perras, Performers of Original, Educational, Americana Music, share a Song-and-Story presentation titled "Black History Month". This 50-minute long program presents facts related to notable civil right icons like Harry T. Moore; Martin Luther King, Jr.; the Tuskegee Airmen; events such as the Selma March, the movement of enslaved African-American that was known as the Underground Railway, and other historical events related to Black History Month, including sharing, and teaching, several of the standard civil rights songs from the early 1960's. The Ruckers accompany themselves with finger picking and bottleneck blues guitar, blues harmonica, old-time banjo, spoons, and bones. #blackhistory15
