Stop by the library for an impressive blend of bilingual, cultural, folk and historical tales as told by award-winning storyteller Carrie Sue Ayvar. Experience the rich oral practice of storytelling as you’ve never experienced it before. Of Eastern European Jewish descent, Ayvar grew up in the oral tradition and continues to share engaging stories of her father’s show business memories along with newer Latin-inspired tales she has added to her repertoire from her time in Mexico. Her stories cross language lines and connect Florida residents through imaginative tales that unite people of all cultural backgrounds.
This special event, brought to you by the Friends of the Orange County Library System, is FREE and everyone is invited.
