Local author Ken Pelham will speak on his recently published thriller Brigands Key. Murder, a mysterious illness and monster hurricane all play parts in Pelham's new novel. Brigands Key was a first-place winner in the Florida Writers Association's 2009 Royal Palm Literary Awards. A book sale and signing will follow the program.
