Darla Jaros is cooking up something at OCLS! The mother of three who struggled to provide both affordable and healthy meals at times while raising her children has now shared her tips to success in her book: The Kitchen Assistant. Darla will discuss how making meals from scratch can actually be a lot easier on your grocery budget and much more nutritious than mixing together pre-made foods. Her practical and inexpensive approach to cooking, using kitchen staples along with weight management skills, are easy to adopt in your own home. The Kitchen Assistant’s tips and techniques for healthy dining will have you cookin’ up a storm in no time! Book sale and signing after the program.
