Eat your words and end National Library Week on a sweet note! Join us in Library Central as OCLS participates in the world famous Books2Eat Festival. Taste literary-themed cake entries from local bakeries including: Too Jay's, Publix, The Dessert Lady and Party Favors Custom Cakes. Whet your appetite for all the library offers at Books2Eat. Treat yourself to cake and a sweet ending to our celebration of public libraries. A free concert featuring funk/soul brothers Bop Gun will take place after this event from noon to 1 p.m.
S.O.S. (SAVE OUR SURROUNDINGS) at Southwest

Send out an S.O.S. with award-winning conservationist, environmental writer and documentary filmmaker Bill Belleville. Finish out National Library Week in eco-fashion with an inspiring, enlightening and entertaining talk. Enjoy light refreshments plus a book sale and signing. Everyone is invited to this free event presented in partnership with the Dr. Phillips Rotary.
