Tour the Photography Studio. Learn the Photography Studio workflow, procedures and best practices. Individual photography assessments are available after the orientation. Prior to booking the photo studio, users must participate in an assessment to show proficiency in using the photo studio equipment. This is a prerequisite class to gain access to the Melrose Center Photography Studio. Recommended Audience: Adult
ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: To register for this orientation and/or assessment, cardholders must attend the General Orientation for the Melrose Center and must be at least 18 years of age. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age).

This class will introduce the basic operations of how to operate the video studio cameras. Learn basic camera settings and the use and care of a camera. This class helps prepare students for the Video Assessment. Recommended Audience: Adult
Create graphics with a simple to use programming language. Processing is used to create data visualization programs, interactive media, 3D art and multimedia software. In this beginners class, learn the basic programming language, syntax and how to add shapes, lines and colors to the program. Processing is a free open source programming language and development environment. You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted.
During this 4-week program, students will meet once each week to prepare for the U.S. Naturalization (Citizenship) Test and Interview. To be eligible for U.S. Naturalization, you must be able to read, write, and speak basic English. Registration is required. This program is for adult learners, and is available for free to Orange County district resident cardholders, Fee cardholders, and Orange County Property Owner cardholders. Join Co-Founder of Vela Sauce, Vilma Vela as she shows you how to spice up your dishes. Vilma will be making chicken and vegetarian Taquitos to demonstrate how to add heat to enhance a dish without changing the flavor. Vela Sauce is a flavorful, low sodium, all-natural hot sauce created with local produce and no additives. Vela Sauce, LLC was founded in 2014 in Orlando, FL by an American/Guatemalan couple who are now sharing their love of hot sauce with the community. Vela Sauce is a Fresh From Florida product.
