Welcome to Technology @OCLS, this month we are highlighting courses on how to create and enhance your own Web Site using HTML and JavaScript coding, Weblogs along with Podcasting.

.: NEW SERVICE FOR THE DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING
The Sorenson Video Relay Service (VRS) is a free service for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community that enables anyone to conduct video relay calls with family, friends, or business associates through a certified ASL interpreter via a high-speed Internet connection and a video relay solution. A Library Card is not required to use the Sorenson VRS. Visit the Soreson site from our NetLinks Assistive Services - Relay Services.

FEATURED CLASSES OF THE MONTH

Create Your Own Webpages Using HTML Level 1
Learn HTML concepts and terminology. Create a simple web page using basic HTML features and tags. Recommended Prerequisite: Internet Level 1
Create Your Own Webpages Using HTML Level 2
Create HTML web pages for publishing on the web. Customize a webpage with advanced features such as graphics, links and tables. Recommended Prerequisite: HTML Level 1

Learn how to create cascading style sheets and frame sets.

Weblog Basics
Learn the fundamentals of a Weblog and how to create your own blog.
