Do you need to create a visual presentation for a school or work related project? If so, the Orange County Library System offers Microsoft PowerPoint classes that can assist you. With Microsoft PowerPoint, you can create exciting slide shows with graphics, animations, and multimedia that will leave your audience in awe. We look forward to seeing you this month in one of our classes!
Below is a list of the classes that are featured this month:
    Microsoft PowerPoint Level 1: Understand presentation concepts and terminologies. Become familiar with the PowerPoint environment and create a presentation using slides. Length: Approximately 1 hour. Recommended Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level I.
    Class Objectives:
  • Explore the different views in PowerPoint
  • Create a basic slide show presentation
  • Format and enhance a presentation using graphics
    Microsoft PowerPoint Level 2: Use the master template to customize presentation slides and handouts. Length: Approximately 1 hour. Recommended Prerequisite: Microsoft PowerPoint Level I
    Class Objectives:
  • Explore the Master Template view
  • Customize an existing design template
  • Use the Master Template to create a new design template
    Microsoft PowerPoint Level 3: Use slide transitions and animations. Learn how to add animated effects and action buttons to presentations. Length: Approximately 1 hour. Recommended Prerequisite: Microsoft PowerPoint Level 1.
    Class Objectives:
  • Enhance presentations using Slide Transitions
  • Explore Animation Schemes and Custom Animation
  • Link between slides using Action Buttons
