» Camp Savvy - Technology Classes for Kids

Are you up to the challenge? Learn about new and exciting computer programs this summer and become the savviest of them all! Have fun while becoming Computer Savvy and be eligible to WIN COOL PRIZES! Camp Savvy is a program designed for children ages 6-12. Classes for Kids include Computer Explorer, Easy Typing, The Virtual Painter, Animated Talking Books, Exploring Electronics, Building 3D Models and many more fun and exciting programs.

» TechKrew: Technology Classes for Teens

Are you techie or do you wanna be? Join the Krew in a fun environment where you can unleash your creative genius. Build your own apps and video games, mix music, design graphics, record, edit and add special effects to movies, build 3D models, explore electronics and much more!

» Adobe Illustrator Fundamentals

Create complex and attractive designs using shapes, images and text with special effects. Build your new business logo, advertisements, marketing flyers and other illustrations with ease using the vector tools. You will learn to draw and manipulate simple shapes, custom shapes, brush strokes, and text in unique ways.

» Job Seeker Workshop and Computer Classes

Workforce Central Florida (WCF) is continuing their partnership with the Orange County Library System to provide Employability Skills Workshops and computer classes at various library locations. WCF representatives will present a one-hour Employability Workshop, which will be followed by a one-hour Job Seeker computer class. Re-employment Assistance claimants may substitute workshop attendance for their required five weekly job search contacts. WCF staff will provide participants with a Re-employment Activity Tracking form to document participant attendance. How long have you worked for the library?
I've been working at the library for five years.

What do you like best about being a Technology Trainer?
The relationships you develop as a teacher are amazing. I meet people at different points in their lives. Some are looking for a job while others are retired. As a Technology Trainer, I have a chance to build into their lives. It's fantastic!

What new technologies are you most interested in?
The topic of technology is incredibly broad and ever changing. One of the new technologies I am currently most interested in is 3D Printing.

What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling (especially on the Disney Cruise).

Keyboard Shortcut: ALT + Tab

The ALT + Tab shortcut can help you quickly and precisely navigate between open windows.

  • Switch easily to the previous window by pressing Alt+Tab.
  • Cycle through open windows by holding Alt and repeatedly pressing Tab. Release Alt to show the selected window.
  • After pressing Alt-Tab, hold Alt and use the arrow keys or your mouse to choose your window. Release Alt to show the window.
