September is here and fall is right around the corner! We will offer the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) preparation classes again in September to get you ready to become Microsoft Office certified. The Main Library will be offering Whiz Kids and TechKrew classes this month with all new days and times! Check out the What’s New section to learn more about all these classes and more! .: Preparation Classes for the Microsoft Office Tests
Get ahead of the competition! If you're looking for a job, then becoming a Microsoft Office Specialist could put you ahead -- plus it looks good on your resume! Classes will be offered at the Orlando Public Library and are scheduled for two hours.

.: Computer Classes for Kids and Teens at Main!
You’ve been asking and now they are here! Whiz Kids classes and TechKrew classes will be back on the calendar starting in September! Whiz Kids classes will be on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. (Psst, Parents: Every first Saturday of the month, join your kids for a fun Family Focus class!) And teens can drop by the second floor for TechKrew classes every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The first Tuesday of every month will be a Hangout day and the last Tuesday of the month will have The Color Experiment. Bring your friends along and join in the fun!

.: Staff Spotlight! Hanna!
Hanna has worked with the Orange County Library System for almost two years as a Customer Support Specialist (CSS) at Main. As a CSS, Hanna assists patrons in the public computer area by helping them gain access to computers and answer questions related to the Library’s Technology Training Program. One of the things Hanna enjoys most about working at the library is “The staff members here are fun, friendly and make coming to work worthwhile.” When not assisting patrons, Hanna “loves long distance running and, of course, reading.” Hanna has worked for other libraries and has visited other libraries around the country. She commented that, “OCLS truly is top notch. Free computer classes! Home Delivery for everyone! We are so fortunate.”

Taking a Screenshot
Include screenshots in emails, Word documents, or PowerPoint presentations to help get your meaning across.
To take a screenshot of a window, click in that window then press Alt-Print Screen. To take a screenshot of the entire screen, simply press the Print Screen button.
This copies the image to the clipboard. Then simply Paste the screenshot in your chosen location.
