Welcome to the Technology @ OCLS November 2010 Newsletter. In addition to the many great computer classes offered each month, the Library is offering an array of exciting classes for seniors during the month of November. Visit us and take advantage of the excellent computer classes and resources available at your Library!

What's New

.: Seniors Connect

Learn how to use Facebook and Twitter, e-mail your friends, upload a video to YouTube, use an Apple iPad, iPod Touch, and more! The Seniors Connect classes are designed for seniors and are taught at a comfortable pace. For a full list of available classes, visit our online calendar or call 407.835.7323.

.: QR Code

A Quick Response Code, or QR code, is somewhat like a regular barcode you see on everyday items that you buy at the store. Only, instead of a row of vertical lines, it’s a black and white square. The Library is using QR codes to enhance your experience at our locations and in our website. You'll find QR codes on event posters that you can scan to add the date to your calendar. Other QR codes will contain a location's address that can be opened directly with your phone's map.
