.: ORLANDO PUBLIC LIBRARY SECOND FLOOR RENOVATION

The Orlando Public Library has started the renovation project of the second floor. The Computer Resource Center is now located on the third floor where you will find the public computers and the classrooms. The second floor collection is open to the public and can be accessed by the public elevators.

 

.:SPANISH E GUIDE
We now have a Spanish language version of our award-winning eGuide on Starting Your Own Business. It includes additional Spanish language resources as well as all of the other great resources we already have packed in there. Click here to find out more information.

 

.: INTERNET UPGRADE!
Our Internet upgrade was completed just last week! Visit us today and find a much faster and more convenient Internet to meet your needs. Public computers are available at any of our 16 locations. Ask a staff member how you can sign up and use this great service.

 

Classes

.: FEATURED CLASSES OF THE MONTH
The computer courses spotlighted for the month of June are those to help your Children become computer savvy.

Orlando, Florida … Get computer savvy at your library this summer. A summer series of computer workshops to help students ages 8 through 18 "Get Savvy" about computers.

Camp Savvy classes will be offer at the Computer Resource Center in the Orlando Public Library and also at the Alafaya, Eatonville, North Orange, South Creek and West Oaks Branches.

Course exercises are based on a Pirate theme, and teach Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Windows Media Player and Internet skills in English and in Spanish.
