On May 9th, the new ocls.info will arrive! All webpages and URLs in the www.ocls.info website* will change as we switch to our new and improved site. When this happens, bookmarks, favorites, and links to this page may cease to work OR may redirect you to a page on the new site which contains similar content. Take a sneak peek at the new site!

*Please note that the redesign does not include the library's catalog or the event & class registration system.

About Us

NOTE: Information about your library card and library policies will now be found in the Using the Library section of the new website. There you can browse the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) which is grouped by topic OR use the search bar.

Confused? Don't Be.

Why can't I use my copy of Outlook/Outlook Express/Eudora/Pegasus Email/etc to send email from my laptop while I'm connected to the Library's Wi-Fi network?

Sending emails using a client such as Outlook requires that we open up SMTP port 25 on our firewall. We have decided not to do this because certain people may try to send "spam" from our library, and unfortunately, it'll look like it was coming from us.

Most ISPs, such as Road Runner, offer Web based email (for example http://webmail.cfl.rr.com). Please check with your ISP to see what their web-mail site is and use it to send and receive email while you're on our network.

If that doesn't answer your question, try searching for another question, or contact Help Desk.
