Teen Photo Contest
Rules of Entry
Who May Enter
Only teens ages 13 to 18 with an Orange County regular, property owner, or fee card in good standing may enter.
What to Enter
There are two categories: altered photos and unaltered photos. Altered photos are defined as any changes that have been made to the photo except for redeye reduction.
Photo entries may be in print or digital format, up to two entries per person.
Entries should be the original work of the applicant. Neither whole nor part of your entry may have been used in any publication.
Photographs that depict vulgarity, excessive violence, or material considered offensive to any religious or ethnic groups, gender, or physically or mentally challenged persons will be disqualified.
Entry Deadlines
Entries will be accepted June 8 - July 31, 2009. Deadline for entries is July 31, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. No entries will be considered after this time.
Judging
Photos will be judged on technical skill, creativity, and expression of teen perspective. A panel of professional photographers will choose the winning entries. The decision of the judges is final.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to: 1st Place in Altered Photos and 1st Place in Unaltered Photos.
Winners will be announced at the Last Jam, August 8th, 2009 at 7 p.m. at the Orlando Public Library, Library Central.
Thanks to our prize donors! Contest winners will receive a Gogo Sac from Naneu and a one year pro account to SmugMug. Prizes are subject to change.
Rights
By submission, the author grants permission for the Library to display, photograph and reproduce the submitted work for publicity purposes.
Keep a copy of your photo. Entries will not be returned.
OCLS is not responsible for lost, damaged, or inaccessible work.
How to Enter
Submission of an entry requires acceptance of all of the contest rules.
