The Techno Teens LIVE Blog Rules
The rules include:
- You must be between the ages 13-18 to post comments.
- Respect everyone's right to an opinion.
- Profanity, put downs, inappropriate language or content will NOT be allowed to post in your comment.
- No website links will be included in your comment; they will be edited before posting.
- All postings must first be approved by the Techno Host to ensure the rules have been followed.
- The Techno Teens team reserves the right to decide which comments are posted and when.
NO PERSONAL INFORMATION such as phone numbers, IM screen names, last names, email addresses or things of the same nature will be allowed on comments. (This is for your safety).
By accepting the rules you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the blog.
What is a blog?
The word blog comes from Weblog. A blog is a public Web journal where people write (post) their ideas and opinions on an array of topics. Others read the message and can post comments to the original message. People who use blogs are called bloggers.
What is the Techno Teens LIVE blog?
The Techno Teens LIVE blog is a service offered to teens at Orange County Library System. The blog is about all the young adult events offered here at the library and more. The blog is for ages 13-18 only! Teens will be able to post comments to postings already placed on the blog.
How can I participate?
You must be between the ages of 13-18. You will be able to post comments to messages posted by the Techno Host. We prefer you stay anonymous but can use your first name. Anything more will be edited out of you comment.
How do I post a message?
Just click on the word comments right below the original posting to add a comment. The Techno Host must approve your comment first and then your comment will post
Why don't I see my comment?
Please keep in mind if you do not see your comments:
- Techno Host must approve your comment before it gets posted.
- Techno Host will not post profanity, put downs, inappropriate language or content.
- Techno Host will not post any web links.
- Techno Host will not post any personal information.
- You are younger than 13 years old.
- You are older than 18 years old.
Who Moderates the Techno Teens LIVE blog?
The blog is moderated by Orange County Library Youth Program Employees. You can identify the moderator by the screen name Techno Host. The host will post question or topics for discussion. The host can and will remove and/or edit any inappropriate comments submitted to the blog. If a blogger breaks the blog rules the moderator will no longer permit them to post comments. You just might know the moderator/moderators if you come to the Teen programs at the library. But you will have to come to a program if you want to meet them.
