EduGaming: Extreme Technology for Teens

Learn It! Do It! Pitch It!: 8-Session Game Design Course

Computer Resource Center, Orlando Public Library

Saturdays at 2 p.m.

Apply for our game design workshop. Learn how to create a game proposal and develop a game prototype using a MAC computer. Sign up online. Class size is limited, selected applicants will be notified. You must have a library card in good standing and you must be between the ages of 13 and 18.


Battle of the Rock Band

Library Central, Orlando Public Library
May 16, 2009, 7 – 10 p.m.

Are you ready to rock?  Show off your Rock Band skills and sign up to compete for prizes. If you need practice, join in on our monthly jam sessions at all library locations. You must have a library card in good standing and be between the ages of 13-18 to compete.

This project has been made possible in part by a grant from the Electronic Arts Foundation and the EA Tiburon Studio, Orlando. Any person requiring special accommodations to participate in any class or program due to a disability may arrange for accommodations by contacting the location where the event is held at least seven days prior to the program.

Gaming Nights: Wii Love Gaming

Teens, do you like to play Wii or Dance Dance Revolution? Do you like to get together and game with others? Well, why not do both at the Library? Gaming nights are happening all the time at our branches. Just check out the schedule to the right and come on in. All you need is a juvenile library card (Regular or Property) in good standing. Check out the games in our collection!
