This novel is about a woman interrogator named Kathryn Dance who is on a mission to gain information by questioning a convicted killer Daniel “Son of Manson” Pell. He is serving a life sentence for the murders of a wealthy family. Kathryn has the ability to read one’s body language to assess if one is telling the truth. However, Daniel escapes and now Kathryn is leading a man hunt for his return. Even though Daniel is running from the police he still kills everyone in his path. This novel is intended for mainly young adults especially women between the ages of 17 to 25 years old. Unlike other novels dealing the police work, this novel was interesting because of the technique Dance used to find Daniel. It was very suspenseful with many unexpected twists. However this novel contains mature language and violence that may be too strong for some readers.
