Warrior Ware: Smooth Moves Review

For Nintendo Wii

By Nathaniel

WarioWare is a very weird game. The game uses the Wii remote for Wii in new and unusual ways. For example, you hold it up to your nose, so you can use it as an elephant’s trunk to pick up an apple. You put it on your hip, and spin around a hula hoop. It is all very weird. Sometimes, you must clean a cow’s rear end. Or, you must use it to fight a sword fight. All the games are less than 5 seconds long. They go by at a dizzying rate, and just when you figure out a game, it’s time for the next one. There is a humongous variety of games available to play, and all of them are quite unusual and inventive. Sometimes you wonder if the people who made this game are sane. Certainly the games are all very fun and very addicting. The main drawback I believe is that the game can be finished within a few hours. But, it is still fun to play over and over again, to beat your record and create new high scores. There is also a multiplayer mode, so you can play with your friends. However, you can’t unlock it until you have completed the single player mode. The graphics on the game aren’t as detailed as some other Wii games they still look pretty good, and they are quite colorful and original. There isn’t much of a plot so this may not be the game for you if you prefer a more story-driven game. Some people just aren’t good at it and would never be able to master many of the quirky games. (My dad as an example However, the game is still quite enjoyable for all ages and it is one of my favorite games. Overall, I’d give it 9 out of 10 rating.
