The Influence of Mankind

So much war
So much crime
Corrupting the frail
Young mind
The world has turned dark
Darkened by poverty
Passed down
To today's minority
The human mind
Has so much power
Yet it is weakened
By what it devours
We must not give in
To such idiotic thought
Taking advantage
Of the gift God brought
The world is our home
A God-given gift
And shall not be destroyed
By mankind's cruel shift
It is time to change
The way we act and think
For the future of our world
Can change in a blink
