Animanga Reality Contest: An anime/manga character contest

Official Entry Form

Attention aspiring artists! Create your very own anime/manga character or comic strip. Draw your character, create the character traits and enter to win! Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Winners will be announced at the Animanga Mini-Con Party on November 18 at 6 p.m. and a fan favorite winner will be chosen from our Facebook page. Pick up  an entry form at any Orange County Library System location and become a fan of Club Central @ OCLS on Facebook to vote for your fan favorite. Deadline for entries is November 15. Ages 13-18.

Meet the Author: Mitali Perkins

Author Mitali Perkins will share her experience of growing up between two cultures, exploring some of the tensions immigrant kids face, and introducing the richness of Bengali culture. Animanga Mini-Con Party

It's Japanamania! Join us for this anime and manga-inspired mini-convention style party! Enjoy activities, games and contests. Don't forget to dress up as your favorite manga or anime character for our annual Cosplay Competition. The winners of the Animanga Reality Contest will be announced. This program is hosted by the Animanga Club. The club meets the third Thursday of every month. Ages 13-18.

Teen Library Corps

All Locations

Volunteer with the Teen Library Corps and give back a little "TLC" to your library and your community. Plan programs, help out at our events, give suggestions for teen services, meet new people and earn community service hours for school.
