How to Make a Music Video

Orlando Public Library, Library Central: Wednesday, February 10, 6 p.m.                             

David Fincher. Michael Bay. Spike Jonze. These famed Hollywood directors all have one thing in common...they got their start directing music videos. Talented director David Bermejo will teach you the basics of music video production and give directing tips. Bermejo has worked with various production companies and several networks such as VH1, MTV and Discovery Channel, just to name a few. As well as directing, he is currently writing  for several award- winning directors and has even started to develop his own projects which include a few television series and feature length films. This program is presented by the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival.

Step Off

Orlando Public Library, Library Central: Saturday, February 27, 2 p.m.                             

Step up your game for the 5th Annual Step Off Competition! Local middle and high school students will put their best foot forward in a battle to be crowned the top step team around. The Power 95.3 Power Playas will be on hand to emcee and DJ the event with today's hottest jams. The winning schools will receive a pizza party from Pizzeria Del Dio. The UCF step team and local elementary steppers will be on hand to entertain and pump up the crowd.

North Orange Bookworms

Volunteer with the Teen Library Corps and give back a little "TLC" to your library and your community. Plan programs, help our at events, give suggestions for teen services, meet new people and earn community service hours for school.
