A.R.T.: Drumming with Giving Tree Music

Orlando Public Library, Club Central: Wednesday, July 15, 3 p.m.

Giving Tree Music offers an interactive drumming experience for all ages, backgrounds and cultures. Drums will be provided to each participant and no musical skill is needed. The best part is we will sound amazing! We will learn traditional songs, how to "talk" to each other on our drums as well as how to find our own rhythms. Together we will sing, drum, dance and laugh while learning about teamwork, community, self empowerment and the geographical and cultural history of the drum.
