Play to win! Grab a “Play Out Loud Summer Reading Calendar,” read every day and mark each day that you’ve read on the calendar, attend a program and a computer class and return your calendar to any library location between August 8 – August 14, 2009 to earn your free Papa John’s pizza and be entered to win one of our grand prizes! The grand prize drawing will be held at the Play-O-Rama End of Summer Bash on Saturday, August 15 at 3 p.m. at the Orlando Public Library. Child must be present to win. Calendars can be picked up at any library location, filled out online or printed out here. *Orange County Library System regular, property owner, or fee card in good standing is required to enter.

Color Me Creative: A Mascot Contest

Are you creative? Well, here’s your chance to show us what you’ve got! Draw and tell us about yourself as an artistic mascot and you could win a Celebrity Mascot Games VIP Prize Package for July 18. The package will include premium seats, a poster, and a mascot meet and greet. Ages 6-12. Deadline for entry is July 10, 2009. *Orange County Library System regular, property owner, or fee card in good standing is required to enter.

This is the only event of its kind in the world! The Celebrity Mascot Games features over 30 mascots including the Orlando Magic’s very own Stuff, Knightro from the University of Central Florida, and Albert from the University of Florida. The mascots will perform a variety of wacky and crazy games! Three great shows, July 17 and 18 at the Amway Arena and July 16 at Stetson University. For more information visit: www.mascotgames.org
