Library Tour
We recommend tours of the Children's Library for children in kindergarten through High School. Youth tours last for approximately 20 minutes. The tour includes the Children's Library, and for groups with youth ages 13 to 18, our teen area, Club Central. Call 407.835.7323 to schedule a visit.

How to Prepare for Your Visit
We have created a suggested reading list, Libraries, Librarians and Lions, of titles about the library for children. Before your tour select a few titles to share with your students.
|
Library Cards
Each child will need his or her own library card to check out books while visiting the library. Obtaining Juvenile library cards requires the signature and ID number of the parent or gaurdian. Please have students check the status of their library card by calling 407.835.7323 prior to your visit. You can download a Library Card application to send home with your students.
|
Lunch
The Library does not have a facility to accomodate group lunches at this time. Some groups choose to have a picnic lunch at Lake Eola Park or Heritage Park in front of the Orange County Regional History Center.
|
Parking
Please make parking arrangements with your bus driver prior to your visit. Paid parking is available across from the Library in the City of Orlando Library parking garage. Please visit the City of Orlando Parking Division site for current rates and limitations.
