Through interlocal agreements, residents of the city of Winter Park, residents of the city of Maitland and residents of Brevard, Lake, Osceola, Polk or Seminole County may apply for a Library card with the Orange County Library System. Please present a valid library card from your own library and a current Florida Driver's License or Florida Identification Card showing your correct residential street address. Maitland city residents also need a letter of Good Standing from Maitland Library. Reciprocal Borrowing privileges include visiting any of our locations and checking out circulating materials that are on the shelf except for games, certain recorded book formats and DVDs (only city residents of Winter Park and Maitland may check out games, all recorded book formats and DVDs). In addition, Seminole County residents are not eligible to check out audiovisual items. Those under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present identification and accept financial responsibility for their card. The Library card is valid for one year.
